Trans-Siberian Railway
7 days and 6 nights, 3 nations, 5 time zones, 7865 kilometres.
An extraordinary journey crossing the pale Siberian taiga, interrupted only by glimpses of forgotten villages and the occasional industrial city, watching nomads horseback riding over the grassy steppes of Mongolia, hawks gliding over their circular gers, the arid Gobi desert inhabited by hairy camels before finally entering in overpopulated China through deep, green valleys.
The ever-changing view outside the window and the slow rhythmic beat of the train, this is the genuine experience of travelling for the travels own pleasure.
